Thanks to our Friends

The podge lunches are completely reliant on good friends to help make them happen. Our wordsmith Patrick Baglee has created the tone of voice and on the day we will have the A team Clare and Babs Jones, Nykeeta Barkakoti, George Stuart, David Lightman and ace photographer / creative Carl Ison who will be looking after us throughout the day.

He’s now described as the Chairman, but Paul Hoskins the owner, founder and erstwhile MD of Precedent, has long been a good friend of Podge. His highly talented and creative agency now led by Neil and Mark has been looking after its clients strategically, tactically and most importantly from our perspective, socially, for over 20 years! A day at one of the Precedent offices, or a morning at one of their regular seminars, is always a fun-filled, yet stimulating experience, and one that we would highly recommend.

The Drum

The Drum: if you’re looking for some northern charm, then our media sponsors at The Drum have buckets of the stuff. They produce a fantastic mid-shelf glossy magazine, and hand out the sort of silverware that Arsenal can only dream of at Cream London, the Scottish Creative Awards, the Roses Design Awards and – of course - the legendary Chip Shop Awards. We’re delighted they’ve made the trip!

Naked Penguin Boy

No – this is not an offer. Once again, these consenting young lads unite to produce a site of sauce and splendour. Classy, and with all their own hair, this East London digital hotbed is an old friend of Podge and we love what they do. Don’t let appearances deceive you. NPB are looking for long term partnerships. NSA adult fun considered for cash. The tongue in cheek copy as ever provided by the great Patrick Baglee.

The Talent Business

We are fortunate once more to enjoy the generous sponsorship of The Talent Business, a lively bunch of folk that know a thing or two about putting people together. They play the long game and add great value to the agencies and clients they represent. Paul Angeli has supported the digital podge lunch for many years and is a top fellah. He has the podge stamp of approval.

Shipley IP

In their own words, Shipley IP is all about people. And generosity too – we’re delighted they’re with us as a sponsor again. They’re all about making sure your great ideas are protected and commercialised. Several of the digital agencies in the room are already clients. We’re all about saying a huge thank you to Mark and his team for supporting Digital Podge.
